Fabric Window Awnings

Above is an example of a small retractable awning on a window. The benefit to using a retractable in this location is that on a hot sunny day the awning can be extended as shown. If there is no sunshine the awning can be retracted and more light can enter the room if you so desire.

Another style of window awnings is the dome awning.
